I am going to attempt filling in the last few months. The kids have changed, I've been sick, Daniel has graduated, it's been so busy and has gone by so fast.

Let's start with Daniel. He has been going to school either at Pima or UofA since we got married, and now has finnally finnished is Bach. Degree in Spanish. Now the search is on for a job where he can use his Spanish. It's been a long and hard few years but we are so happy it is over. Although his job is definatly keeping him busy, it seems as though he is still at school, just with no homework to worry about. He is releaved. And this is all in good timing for the new baby coming.

As for me, it's been one sickness after another non-baby realated. I had a muscle that spazimed (spell?) but sent me to the hospital cuz I couldn't breath. I had to have a CT scan that showed everything was fine. So pain meds it was and it went away. Then I got a sore throat super bad with severe headaches and a swollen glad under my right throat. That went away for about 1 week then came back super super bad. Thank goodness for Priesthood blessings. I got one right away and that made my untolorable sickness tolorable. Thank goodness it was over in about 2 days. Since then, I've been feeling GREAT! I am still taking Restasis for my eyes and it's been helping. I cut it down to once a day and that has seemed to be enough to help them. I can't stop using it though cuz after 3 days of not using it my eyes seem to go back to dry and uncomfortable. So right now I am doing so wonderful, I love feeling the baby move. He is so active. I am going to miss being pregnant. It goes by so fast. April is just around the corner. It makes me so sad but excited to see the new baby.

Shane is now 5 years old and we started him in a Charter school called Tag. He loves it. He is writting little sentences on his own now, trying to sound out words. he is reading small books with just a little help. He comes home with all kinds of interesting facts he is learning. He just loves the ringed seal in the Arctic. He thinks they are so cute. Just the other day he randomly said to me, "you know, red is China's lucky color". Not to mention the first thing he told me after his first week at school about my plants being "dormant" in the winter. He is the youngest in his class and he is right average with the rest of them. I am so proud of him. He just loves school and his classmates, which he knows all their names and even who their parents are and the car they have. On a not so good note, he is starting to pick up on some bad things from school. But you have to expect that. He is getting more independant and wants his freedom to do "whatever he wants". He makes that very clear to us a little too often. He still loves his little sister so much. The first thing he always askes when he comes home is if Canberra is awake so he can play with her. They get along so well. Shane and Seth do well most of the time.

Seth is doing well at the potty training thing again. I hope this time he sticks with it. Seth and Canberra are starting to play better together now, since it's Seth she has to play with in the mornings she has no choice. But Seth is starting to understand her better and can get her to play with him. She is feeling more comfortable with him holding her and playing with her.
Seth now has NO nap time. This was hard but really when it's only him we get some good one on one time. He loves to play on the computer. We have some educational games and of course there is always HALO. It's amazing what he knows on the computer. He also is VERY good at putting puzzles together. Even the small 100 piece sets. He has great patients when it comes to puzzles. Shane on the other hand wants it done right away. A little like me. He does very well with puzzles too. He is now a Sunbeam at church. The first day was a nightmare, the second Sunday he went all on his own, the third Sunday I had to stay in the primary with him but he did well in class. One thing about Seth, you can NOT make him to do anything. He will come around and do it all on his own when he is ready. And most of the time it's about 2 min. later if you don't say anthing about it.

Canberra is just an angel. She has adjusted so well to us putting her down for naps and "night night" with out holding her. I have to say though, I really, REALLY miss holding her. It was the only time I can keep her still enough and long enough. But now we just lay her in her bed and say night night. I made me so sad at first but I am getting used to it a little more now. We just didn't want her to feel pushed away when the new baby comes. She is getting so tall and such a big girl now. She is so interested in the hummingbirds when they come to the feeder. She loves them. She is a little climber and will figure out a way to get to the top of anything she can. She is a brave little girl. She absolutly loves to play ring-a-round the rosie with her brothers and HAS to be holding thier hands. She has her front 4 teeth and bottom 2 teeth and we just realized that she got 3 of her first molars! She had been sleeping in past 9:30 most mornings for about a week and going to bed at 7:00pm with pretty long naps in the afternoon, sometimes 4 hours. We thought she was growing or starting to get sick. But she never cried or fussed, no fever or putting her fingers in her mouth. Nothing. Well, I was brushing her teeth one night, which Daniel usually does, and I heard the brush on her back tooth. So I felt around a felt 3 of her molars! Poor little girl. Boy did she ever take those teeth coming in well. On top of us putting her down by herself. She is into her babies and loves to dress up with hats, gloves, play shoes (or mine), sunglasses. The boys just get the biggest kick out of her.

We are going to have to start digging a hudge hole for our 24" pot Jacaranda tree we will be able to pick up here soon. I bought it end of last year but they kept it during the frost part of winter so we wouldn't loose it. I am so excited to get it. My little bit of Australia at home. In addition to our little Canberra.

Some other not so fun things that has happend so far this year: New Years Night we went to dinner and had horrible service, food and was there over 3 hours! On the way home we got a speeding ticket and had to pay for it because Daniel has a CDL and you can't take the class. Then our insurance ended without notice which I found out at a doctors apt for Shane and another apt. scheduled for me the following day. So we now have to pay for insurance through Daniels work. My wedding ring that I was supposed to have on my finger by January was now pushed to February. Then the latest thing was a leak in our bedroom between our room and the computer area. We still haven't found where that was coming from. Hopefully this is going to be it. Getting it all done and over with for the rest of the year.
