Yes... Seth skipped Kindergarten. It was more like a pre-school for him, it was ridiculous. I know for some kindergarten kids it's real scary and hard to be away from Mom or Dad and it's all new to them but for my children (thanks to Bonnie Bonfield) they both have been way far advanced for kindergarten AND 1st grade. From what the teachers have said about Shane even 2nd grade. They wanted to put him into 3rd grade. He should be starting 1st grade this year. I thought 2 grades up was a bit much age wise. So he is just trying out 3rd grade math. I may have him go to 3rd grade spelling as well. Way easy words for him this year again. We were very happy with the teachers at Wheeler but the material they were teaching was too basic for my boys. Education is very important to me and if my boys are good at Math I want a school that will advance them as they are able. And so back to TAG we go. Wheeler wasn't able to accommodate my requests but TAG tested Seth and he passed the test with flying colors. His teacher is wonderful. Very sweet and very happy to have Seth in her class. I haven't met Shane's teacher yet, her father was really sick and has been out so she doesn't even know Shane is in her class yet! Monday I think she will be back.

The little girl next to Seth became his buddy the very first day. She catches bugs all the time and had brought a bid grasshopper into class that day. A very open and outgoing little girl. They became friends immediatly.

Shane's class room...
Here is Seth's hand print on the little dragon wall when he received his yellow belt.

We had a good rain the other afternoon and this was a real pretty rainbow out our window. This picture does no justice. It was bright and bold and beautiful! I tried anyway.
